Geocache Description:

Congratulations to DarkPink 07Z for finding 1000 caches and making thousands of memories that will last a lifetime!

DarkPink, an avid photographer and cyclist, logged his first cache, Robin Hill Cache on June 16, 2006. He finished up that day with 3 caches searched for, 3 caches found...a great start!

On Saturday, August 8, 2009, DarkPink, along with 3 of his caching pals, set out on a quest for 1000...it was hot, it was dark, it was long...number 1000 eluded them, this time! But the experience was great!!! The memories will be cherished and the cache hunt will be remembered forever!!

After the defeat, another target had to be found...but see, up in Erie there is an annual event entitled the Thousandaires BBQ and what better way to celebrate a milestone then with a bunch of friends!! DarkPink spent the weekend camping in Erie with a group of great caching pals from Butler and, on August 22, 2009, after he logged the BBQ, '1000 found' appeared next to his name!!

Now on to the cache- This cache is located on the Montour Trail and can be a short walk or can be a long one. There are many different parking areas, choose the one you want and head on out! You are looking for an ammo can stocked with goodies.
