No. 7 in the circular trail around the Vehicle Test Track (VTT). Now you've reached the boundary fence.
There may be horses in the field between VTT6 and here, but they (at the time of writing) are very docile. If you ignore them, they ignore you. You can't actually see the VTT. The footpath runs around a chain link fence. Behind this fence is a bund embankment and a 5 metre high concrete slab wall. This was a planning requirement to prevent noise from vehicles on the test track disturbing nearby residents. It's very quiet now. One evening recently I saw a barn owl lazily gliding over the hedgerow in this field.
The original cache was a micro dangler. This disappeared late October 2011. It's now a micro container, but no longer a dangler. The second container disappeared July 2012. A new container has been provided, away from the fence busting tree and closer to the nearby stiles.
