Those who attended the first ever Flash Mob event in New Mexico
held by suz55tbird know how much fun this is, so it's time for the
2nd one!
The event will be held infront of the Old Town Gazebo right in front of the San Felipe de Neri Church. The coordinates will take you right near the Gazebo. I think it would be best if everyone concentrated on placing themselves on the South side of the plaza in the park area and on the sidewalks, that way the dozens of people suddenly freezing is sure to attract attention!
Because of the nature of a Flash Mob, be sure to be safe, don't plan on freezing in the street or infront of a door.
What is a Flash Mob you ask? If you have not attended one, here is the skinny!
Folks arrive early to receive thier check in papers, then disperse to find a location to perform. At a designated time, everyone perfoms an activity, could be anything. At the end of the activity everyone just continues on thier way as if nothing happened!
Action positions draw the most attention! TRY TO THINK OF SOMETHING ACTION RELATED SO YOU STAND OUT!

INSTRUCTIONS:
12:30-12:59 pm
Arrive early as parking can be a tricky. There is free parking in the plaza if you can find it.You can also park across the street and walk over. To the SE of the plaza is some paid parking as well.
1:00 pm
I will be near the south side of the Gazebo with a clear jar filled with log slips. Approach and get yours. Then disperse and find your place. Don't bunch up to much, it should look like everyone is there naturally.
Use your GPS clock or watch me so everyone is timed as close as possible.
1:05 pm
FREEZE IN POSITION FOR 5 MINS!! It's tough so you may want to pick your activity and practice before the event.
1:10 pm
Unfreeze and individually come over and deposit your slip in the jar
1:15 pm
If you have not deposited your slip in the jar by 1:15pm then unfortunately you shant get credit for the event.
Wander off and head over to Tiguex Park ( N35 05.851 W106 40.012) near the monument thingy, which is about 1/4 mile East of the event (easy walking distance). Take Old Town road to 19th street Right next to the pay parking lot. I'll shimmy over as quickly as I can with the caching-mobile with cold waters and some snacks so we can meet and swap what we all heard passerbys said!
Be sure to keep your eyes open for the Meet and Greet Event to be held earlier in the morning by suz55tbird where you can also ask questions regarding Flash Mobs.
