Geocache Description:

Everyone loves Peanut Butter in my family so I just had to hide a jar.

Well, not a full jar it's too yummy to give away and too dangerous for anyone with allergies. Anyway, I'd get lynched for wasting it.

This one's just for cache items and for sharing your favourite Peanut Butter recipe in the online log. Don't worry if you don't have one it's not a requirement. Here's my favourite to start everyone off. Tasty cookies.

Ingredients (makes about 4 dozen)

1/2 cup shortening, margarine, or butter
1 1/4 cups packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour or more to make a workable mixture
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In a medium bowl, cream together shortening, brown sugar, and peanut butter until smooth. Stir in egg, milk, and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the peanut butter mixture until well blended. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets and press slightly with a fork.
3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Have fun searching on this groomed path. It's an undeveloped extension of Pinetree Crescent which should have connected to the Yankeetown road; but, was never completed. Someone keeps it mowed for a ways then it turns into a rough 4-wheeler trail.

While you're searching have some Blackberries with your Peanut Butter if they're in season. Yuck, never mind, strawberries are better with peanut butter anyway, at least strawberry jam is.

As always watch for Muggles as the road near by is often busy. You should be able to conceal yourself well enough to access the cache.

The cache is filled with lots of fun items so trade fairly.

Good luck.

** Congratulations to hirtle for the FTF. At 6:00 am the GPS was probably was still waking up too. **
