Geocache Description:

PLEASE REMEMBER CACHEIN AND TRASHOUT

This Cache was originally placed for the 2009 IGO Hide and Seek Event.

Wonder Girl and I had a great time hiding these caches for you. We took Eastern Plymouth
County, that is anything east of Highway 75, with a couple of exceptions in LeMars.

Eastern Plymouth County is mostly high quality farm land and is not as “scenic” as
Western Plymouth County. We did find a few interesting spots for you to check out.

As we traveled through eastern Plymouth County, we encountered a great many of
these L.W.B.s, Little Wooden Bridges. In fact there were three within a mile of this one
At one time Iowa had more bridges than any other state in the union, due to the large
number of farm to market roads. It is now in 2nd place with Texas Number 1.
But still a lot of bridges. This bridge is but one example of why Iowa has so many bridges.
