This cache is located off of a paved concrete walking path in a man made drainage ditch.
The cache is an ammo box filled with a historic account of the former Stapleton Airport's past and several hands-on pieces of replicated history for all to enjoy. If you were visiting this spot during Stapleton's heyday, you would have been illegally standing on airport property only about 2000 ft. N-NE of the 8-26 runway complex. Best parking is the lot on the East side of Central Park by the soccer fields, just off MLK and Beeler St.
