Geocache Description:


This cache is placed in honor of Walter, my grandson, on his 5th birthday. Walter is my most enthusiastic caching partner, and he lives nearby in Crescent City and likes to play on the beach near this very spot.

It is not a hard find----pretty much what you'd expect along this section of coast. Just think like a five year old! You are looking for a small lock and lock container. And while you're there, do a little beach exploring yourself. This is Crescent City's Pebble Beach, and there is a large bird refuge on Castle Rock just offshore. Listen and you will probably hear some sea lions calling.

First to find will see the cache packed full of a few small toys and a few travel bugs and geocoins. Help yourself.
