This is cache 3 in a series of 12.
At this point the path can become more muddy so you might struggle with a buggy. Bikes are fine and sturdy walking boots recommened. This is also the start of the Horse riding part of the Dava Way so please give way to oncoming beasts!
This is a 1.2km walk from cache 3. Some parts are muddy due to the horses. Please keep to the Dava Way signs as there are a few paths here.
If going by car, parking is at the Newtyle Gravel Pit N 57 34.648 W 003 35.065. Park at the sign BEFORE the green Forestry Newtyle Gravel Pit sign and follow the muddy horse track to the Dava Way.
This cache is slightly of the Dava path to the right but within view. You can look down to see where the old railway was.
The cache is a small camo beaker with usual bits and bobs as well as a small FTF goody bag. Good Luck!
