Park at the Bear Trailhead and hike west. Well maintained path starting at 8470 ft with a moderate elevation increase of 120 ft. over 1.3 miles to the cache. Take care crossing the wet ground between Bear Trail and the Geocache. Several aspen trees near the cache have names and dates going back to 1912.
The geocache contains a note pad, golf pencil and a golf tee. These have been placed into used Offfical Geocache container and placed at the base of a tree. The trees at and near the geochache have inscriptions dating from 1912.
