Geocache Description:

Look for a camo loc-n-loc container at the water filling station and near by park.

No one likes to think about fire; but, the threat is always there. Living life in an area without fire hydrants is no different than living anywhere else, except when you need to fight a fire.

When that happens, the fire fighters need lots of water. A typical truck will only last a few minutes. Once the water is gone the tanker truck must either return to the firehouse or some other close source of water to refill. The faster they can get filled and back to the fire the better. In order to reduce the time a tanker truck takes to return with a refill, many subdivisions have installed a pump connection that leads into a pond or lake. The water in the lake can used to fill the tanker, providing a steady supply of water for the fire fighters. Hopefully, the fire can be extinguished before the lake is.

I'm not sure what happens to the fish in the lake; but that's likely another story.

Have fun searching and take a swim to cool off or relax with your fishing line in the water. If you come by in the winter bring your skates as there's always a spot cleared.

Good Luck.

***** Congratulations to hirtle for the FTF. Way too early, I was still catching ZZZs while you were nabing caches. ****
