Cache-tech: Greetings from Geocaching.com

I have had no contact with the cache owner since my last note and there has been no notes posted to the cache page in that time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future. If you do not plan on replacing/repairing your cache, please CITO any remains returning the site to the original state before you placed your cache.

Geocache Description:

Easy Cache. You can Almost Drive right up to it. Its a dirt road, but well maintained. A Small car can easily go there.

This is my first Cache, and I really wanted to place it in one of our treasured spots, that not alot of people know about. The Cache is located in Red Rocks, Newfoundland. (About 2 KM from Cape Ray) There is a Highway sign that reads "RED ROCKS" about 1/2 KM from the dirt road. You can see Big Pond, under the mountains here, Its hard to miss. Keep going along this dirt road through Red Rocks, over half way in, you will come you two bridges. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE HIGH BRIDGE TO THE LEFT. This is very important as the old bridge is getting bad. Keep going until you come to a right turn, at this point you can see the ocean. You will also start to see two old cement buildings, that were once an old army base back in WWII. They used this base for watching submarines, as you can see from the spectacular view of the ocean. The Cache is located just past the turn to these buildings, on the right side of the road. Keep an eye out for muggles, as the T-Rail is just down from that area. Happy Caching!!
