This is dedicated to all the people who get our mail to us. Ok they are not always the most pleasant to deal with when you have to go into the big post office, but look at all the stress they endure:

Up to 208 hours of annual leave, plus up to 13 work days for sick leave, plus 12 weeks Family Medical leave, plus 10 paid holidays a year, plus Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, Mental Health Services for all that stress, Savings Plan, Thrift Plan, Retirement, I can’t go on my head is starting to hurt.

Let’s see, the 40 hour work week is 2080 hours per year ,a postal worker is entitled to up to 872 hours off during normal work hours leaving only 1208 hours to get the job done not to mention those breaks twice a day the government says they have to take. leaving even less time to get their jobs done.

Gee I could go a little berserk too with so much to do, and so little time to do it!! So let’s all show a little more understanding to the over worked underpaid Postal Service.

This is just in fun and we all need to be happy that they have these benefits they are the model for yours!!
