The coordinates above are not for the cache,
but for the car parking. The actual cache coordinates can be found
nearby inside Geocache GC1Y1J0, Church Micro 863 – East
Langdon. Please ensure the laminated coordinates are left inside
the micro cache.
A simple
stroll along the footpath (use Footpath-Trailhead Waypoint) that
crosses Famine Meadow following the dismantled light railway line
towards Guston, once used by the huge railway guns in WW2 (See also
GCW88Q – GHOST TRAIN and GC1XWKV – GHOST TRAIN #2 for
more information).
If you wish,
you may continue along this footpath to reach GC1XWKV which is just
over mile away from the start of the footpath.
If you choose to walk from the church micro,
the route to the start of the footpath is along a quiet country
lane. Please take the usual precautions with yourselves and little
ones. If you wish to drive to the start of the footpath, very
limited parking can be had around N51 09.794, E001 20.448. Please
park sensibly.
