The Fly Tyer Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

cumbiya: I stopped by today to check on this one. It was so far from its original hiding spot that I had a hard time locating it. It is also mangled beyond belief, suprised I did not get any needs maintenance logs. Anyway, since it never took off as a trading post for fishing flies I decided to archive it and make room for someone else. I have plans for the swag though, be prepared for another cache, but in a different spot.

THANKS TO EVERYONE TTHAT TOOK TIME TO SEARCH THIS ONE OUT [:D]

Geocache Description:

There is really nothing special about this hide location. I wanted to combine my passion of fishing with my new passion for geocaching.

So here it is....

A trading post for fishing flies. In addition to being a traditional cache, my hope is to start trading flies. I am thinking flies because they can be bought but also handmade. You may also leave a regular fishing lure if you like, or any other swag that fits. If things really take off I have a larger cache box all set to go. You may also leave a fly recipe or tying instruction sheet. Who knows this may be the start of Geo fly catching. Along with the log book and pencil I have included some foam pieces to protect hook points and some Wolly Buggers to get trading going. Pictures of any fish caught using a fly from this cache would be great.

Hope you enjoy and please be careful with the hooks.
