Gabriola Island is a perfect place for a Bluesky cache as the
citizens of the Island actively use alternative forms of
transportation. It is a very bike friendly place
and you will see many as you move about on the Island.
This cache is hidden in a
BC Park. BC Parks supports
geocaching!
Here is a link to the BC Parks geocaching policies,
please familiarize yourself with them. Through cooperation with BC

This cache can be accessed from Nanaimo using public
transit.
There is a bus stop very near the ferry terminal and many buses in
Nanaimo have bike racks. Once you have reached the terminal, buy a
ticket for yourself, it is for a round trip and your bike rides for
free.
Once on Gabriola, it is a 15.7 KM ride to the park.
In these caches, you'll find some ProjectBlueSky geocoins for
the first finders. Please only take one... if you have one from
another cache, please leave them for other people. There are also
some other pins and swag from BC Parks, BCGA and Project Blue
Sky.
