Geocache Description:

FTF Goes To... cadmium219!!!

Come and visit and admire the great

The Brown Mansion

Which now holds the Westchester Township History Museum

If you are looking to research your genealogy this would be a great place to start!

The coords posted are not those of the actual cache location!

The coords will lead you to a plaque mounted in plain view
from which you will gather some information to determine
the actual location of the cache.

This is a great wonderful mansion!

So when you grab this cache take the time to admire the beautiful architecture.

The Queen Anne Style of domestic Victorian architecture, popular in the United States in the 1880’s and 1890’s, was a rejection of the traditional architectural concepts of unity and symmetry and was instead an exuberant celebration of contrast and variety.

When you get to the plaque read carefully and find the following information:

What was the age of George when he immigrated to New York?

Add to that number how many wives he had.

Then add to that number how many children he had.

Divide that number by the number of letters in Charity's maiden name.

Then lastly take that result and now add it to the last 3 digits of the North and West posted coordinates.

This will finally get you the actual location of the cache!

Happy hunting!

WARNING!

There is no need whatsoever to walk into the beautiful Victorian Gardens (mulched area) here at this site. Great care has been given to find a location which is easily accessible from the lawn area. If your coords do not take you to a location that is probably considered somewhat typical and easy to get to, then please check your coords before proceeding.
