Ez a láda már hosszú ideje él a GPSgames.hu oldalon multiládaként,
az alapkoncepció egyáltalán nem foglalkozik 56-al és az
emlékmuvel.
Miért töltöttem fel mégis ide? Mert sokat dolgoztam vele, a láda
közel egy év alatt háromszor tunt el, és a mai napig (2009.09.04) 6
megtalálóval büszkélkedhet. Háromnegyed milliárdos költségével
legyen valami gyakorlati haszna is az emlékmunek, csábítson ide
minél több turistát!
1956-ról nem írok magyar nyelven itt, hiszen mindenki tudja, mirol
van szó.
Az emlékmu keletkezése körüli botrányokra a többségetek biztosan
emlékszik, de ha nem az sem baj, ne is akarjátok tudni!

Hungarians see red over 1956 monument
Anti-communist street fighters who defied Soviet tanks in the
streets of Budapest in 1956 are furious at a giant monument being
built by Hungary's socialist government to mark the 50th
anniversary of the abortive uprising.
On the surface, the argument is about the abstract style of the
structure, an assembly of rusting steel columns intended to
symbolise demonstrators coming together in a crowd and which
finally merge into a wedge-shaped steel blade.
But it is exposing deep, unresolved divisions about the true
meaning of the revolution.
The monument, being built on the spot where a statue of Stalin was
pulled down early in the October 1956 uprising, has been condemned
by prominent former fighters, now on the political Right.
They wanted a traditional heroic sculpture, depicting people. For
them, the steel posts look like the gallows used to hang hundreds
after the revolution, including the martyred prime minister, Imre
Nagy, who was executed by the Russians in June 1957 after he
withdrew Hungary from the Warsaw Pact and declared it neutral. That
was when the tanks rolled in to begin the repression that saw
20,000 people jailed and 200,000 flee the country.
Nobody doubts the monument stand-off is about politics, not art. It
is pitting veteran against veteran, and dividing the
generations.
