This cache is a companion cache to
Knot in a Tree, located in the same preserve. If you already
got the cache "Knot in a Tree", then this is just another cache to
get. But if not, then Scotty is here to help!
See, inside this cache is flashcards with pictures of all the
the different knots used in the cache "Knot in a Tree". This is not
a shot at Littlepig, the owner (in fact I am quite fond of him, and
his caches), but rather a "Gee, I wish I had this when I did that
cache" helpful little cache.
When I did the "Knot in the Tree" cache, I spent two COLD days
in these woods looking for the cache. I had no knowledge of knots,
so I winged it, and of course, like Murphy's Law, when 0-4 each
time. It was ALWAYS the last of 4 options I checked.
With these helpful little flashcards, this will not happen to
you!!
All I ask is that if you take the flashcards to help you with
the "Knot in a Tree" cache (which I do encourage), PLEASE replace
the cards back in this cache so the next person can use them if
they so desire (plus, it cost me 5 bucks to laminate them!)
