The start of a circular walk of approximately 3 miles. Very flat, very easy going. Caution recommended with small children and dogs. Not really suitable for baby-buggies. There is a fast road and a few stiles to navigate along the way. Extra care should be taken between No. 3 and No. 5 because there are likely to be cows with calves in the fields. You will see some stunning vistas.. and if you're lucky, spot a Buzzard or two soaring...
Parking for one or two cars is available almost directly opposite the drive down to Grove House Farm, or along Hall Green Road. Do not drive down to the farm. DO however walk down there to get to the first cache. Don't try and go down the very, very overgrown PF just north of the parking point. (unless you are Indiana Jones).
We decided to lay these caches along some rarely used footpaths near to where we live, and share them with you.
We would recommend the use of an OS map for this walk, it really helps!
Grove House Farm dates back to at least the 1800's and used to be owned by the Foley family. The farm used to have several Hopyards, none of which exist today. You can read more about the farm here: (visit link)
Cache is a small screw-top beaker in a camo bag. Please rehide as found.
