Enjoy a vigorous hike on Mission Peak to find this cache
This cache was established in honor our Uncle Alan. He first identified this location after we first told him about geocaching, and he placed some treasures there for his niece and nephew to find. Now the cache is available for everyone. It's a small camouflaged container about the size of a peanut butter jar ( as it once was ) containing a log and small trinkets Note that there is some poison ivy in some nearby rocks , and we avoided putting the cache among the rocks The cache is located in Mission Peak Regional Park. You don't have to hike to the top of the peak , but it's still a good hike to find this cache. Most of the path to this cache is on well defined trails, though the last hundred feet or so will be on a smaller foot path.
