Geocache Description:

A quick stop for those out on the highway.

Mr FC has always liked finding abandoned roads, and after passing this he turned around to place a cache here.

In the summer of 2008, highway 400 was completed to Parry Sound with the completion of the section of the 'Wahta gap'. This was an area belonging to the Mohawks and an agreement was reached to allow the use of the land.

Largely, the old highway 69 lanes were used, with additional lanes being added . This cache is located on a section where none of it was used.

The cache container was kindly donated as a prize by Dr Moo at his April breakfast event that we won.

This can be driven to, and is a short walk over rocks to reach the location.
