A nice walk on the Dorset Tower Trail
The Dorset Tower Trail scales the side of Tower Hill. There are two possible routes to take you to the top. One which is a shorter distance but quite steep. The second is a longer walk at an easier incline. We opted to take you up the longer but less strenuous route.
There are a number of possible starting points. You can start from the top and work your way down (approx. N45 15.160 W078 53.503, trailhead is beside outhouses) Please be aware that there is a $4.00 fee to drive to the top and the road is seasonally closed. The other starting point is located behind the Dorset Museum (N45 15.022 W078 53.605).
The length of the easier loop is approximately 1.5km top to bottom (or bottom to top) Cache container is a 1.5l translucent tupperware container stocked with some trade goodies.
