I was going to Castle Rock today with a group
of friends and noticed this spot didn't have a cache so i brought
one with me to hide. However, i do think Marky and Joani had one
here but it got muggled.
Unfortunately the falls are very hard to see
head on. From the viewing platform you can see about half of the
falls when looking straight down. The falls are about 75-100 feet
high.
The falls are year round, but are just a
trickle in the summer.
The cache is an ammo box hidden a little
down trail from the platform and uphill off the trail about 40
feet. All the swag is pretty good and is mainly kid themed (yoyos,
balls and beads). For the FTF i put in a Stevie Ray Vaughn CD, but
taking any item in the cache works.
