The Ayrshire Coastal Path runs for 100 miles from Glenapp to Skelmorlie. The cache is in the section between Dunure and Croy (please remember to check the tides if you are walking the full section!). Alternatively there are a number of laybys south of Dunure if you don't fancy the longer walk - there is no pavement though!
The route can be fairly well covered in jaggies at the field edges so even the short jaunt means boots!
