The second of three caches on the Church Rock Trail. Go to Red Rock State Park and follow the signs to the Church Rock Post Office. You can park there or even drive right up to the trail head. Watch out for goatheads especially if you bring a pet.
This is a great part of the trail that winds around the rim of the wash below. I can only imagine what it must look like during a downpour. The coordinated should take you right to the cache, well kind of. You will be very close. You should not have to climb down to the little ledge below, but you may have to lay on your stomach to reach this cache. Bring your own pencil.
Be careful will traversing the rocks especially during or after the rain, they can be slippery. There are times throughout the year when this trail sees a lot of use, so some stealth might be needed.
