Geocache Description:

Like the fairy tale, you will follow the markers through the woods until you find the prize. Don't be tempted to visit any cottages made of candy along the way!!

Located in Tile Hill Woods, this can only be found after dark. You must bring a powerful torch and PLEASE be careful when navigating the woods at night. It can be slippery underfoot, there may be wild animals that could be startled and you should always bring something (like a mobile phone) to be able to contact people in an emergency.

Starting at the coordinates shown above, you will find 6 or so parking spaces for the woods. There is a metal gate at the coordinates which is your starting position! Hold your torch at eye level and shine it into the woods. You should find two glowing spots staring back at you if you look in the right direction. Move to where you see these markers and look for another. Continue this approach until you find another pair of markers, at which time, you've found the location of the cache.

Please follow this advice:
* You cannot see the reflection of the markers unless your torch is right beside your eye. They only return light in the opposite direction that it enters them!!
* There are a number of short bridges on the way, please take care when crossing them!!
* When you reach the cache, there is no need to move the object which has the final markers on it - please don't move it!!
* When returning to the car, there is a more direct route which does not have markers along it. Read the hint to find out more - but it is a spoiler!!
* Take extra care and be sure to be prepared for the unexpected as it is very dark in the woods at night and don't go alone!!
* Preferably bring a GPS that does track logging. It is quite difficult to follow the markers back out of the woods, and it would be a good idea to have a backup way of back tracking.

Having said all that, be sure to have a good time. It was great fun setting this up, and we'd like to see plenty of people enjoy it!! We've given it a test run and it was brilliant fun.
