The third of three caches on the Church Rock Trail. Go to Red Rock State Park and follow the signs to the Church Rock Post Office. You can park there or even drive right up to the trail head. Watch out for goatheads especially if you bring a pet.
Following the trail can take a little effort. In most sections it is clearly marked, but some are not. Look for sticks blocking incorrect trails and footholds carved into the sandstone. All the trails eventually all wind together, but taking the correct way is shorter.
This spot offers a beautiful view of Church Rock and the surrounding land. After you have located the cache, or before, take a seat and notice the bands of color that run through the sandstone and the sound of the birds echoing through the canyons, this place is fantastic!
