Found this area while looking for somewhere to stop and have lunch with CDC after going to Cody Lake.. Enjoy the views here. You can see Pryamid Peak in the distance and a really neat looking tree not to far away.. Come sit and have lunch or a snack and enjoy the peacefulness of this spot. Watch the chipmunks and squirrels.
These cords took me within 5 feet of the cache but remember you ARE in the mountains, with trees and rocks around.
Please when replacing the cache make sure it is sealed tight and to re-cover it to protect it from the weather.
As always be careful of your surroundings and watch for the usual hazards that might be in the area.
