Geocache Description:

The trail to this is about 1/4 mile and is usually well mowed. The last few feet will be in the woods, so watch out for poisn ivy.

This site shows some interesting history about the Chickasaw indians. While we think of all indians living in tepees, it appears that they took some ideas from the European settlers. While what is left is flat grass, you can see where various houses and forts were built and read about them on the various plaques.

This is a rubbermaid style plastic box painted green. Inside there is a logbook, pen, and a few trinkets for the kids. If your child wants to take one of the small colored capsules, its fine if they don't leave anything. When you get home, let them put it in a glass of warm water and see what shape it grows into.
