Geocache Description:

One of a series of two, this is a small cache which will hold small trackables and swaps.

Placed in the Sanquhar Woods in Forres, this is one of two caches designed to make you think.
More info can be found on the woods with a bit of "googling", including the recently developed Mtb trails. ( new maps have still to be printed but great mountain biking) It's next to the start of our Dava Way series of caches GC1XXWC Dava Way1: Forres Bridge

Both caches can be accessed easily from the woodland paths. There are a couple of options for parking. There are numerous paths into the caches, you'll just need to wind your way in.

Sanquhar Pond - N 57'36.146 W 003'36.544

Mtb Car park - Off Mannachie Rd from Forres to Rafford. Turn left at the Sanquhar Mains Private Road Sign (it isn't private anymore but they haven't changed the sign yet) .

Not a five difficulty,as it is possible you may click on pretty quickly. However, we think they will have you scratching your heads.

They are not tiny caches burried away in a hole, or in the ground, but are reasonable sized caches holding a log, pencil and a swap to kick off with.

There is a FTF prize, and also as they're tricky, a 2ndTF prize.

Please ensure the caches are returned exactly as found. This is essential to keep the difficulty rating.

There is an old rabbit hole in the area which we have cleared the grass from, to save you tripping up. The cache is not in the hole.

We are in the area most days, checking the caches have not been muggled, so keep looking.

Best of luck!
