This is a really easy hike at about 3km that takes you along the west side of Ikitsuki island with nice views of sea cliffs and ocean on the way to the Dabae Lighthouse.
The cache is in a ziplcock container (red top), log book inside but no pen. Hope someone finds it and enjoys the great view at the top of the lighthouse.
I only say that its a 2 for terrain rating because there was a lot of going up and down hills.
Make sure that if you bring a Dog or Children that they do not touch any of the fencing as they are electrified to keep wild animals out of the farm lands. But dont worry if you stay on the well kept pathways it is perfectly safe.
The cache is gaurded by two poles.
There is only one road on Ikitsuki so just head right after the toll road. You can actually drive all the way up to the lighthouse but there about 3 places before the lighthouse where you can park and enter the trail. Just look for a parking at one of the scenic overlooks and start hiking.
