This offset cache will bring you to a plaque where you will find out about a minor episode in the career of a well-known Bay Area native, and also learn what stood here before the shopping center. Call the digits of the year in which this episode occurred ABCD. Now do a little math:
E = C - D
F = (B+D) - (A+C)
G = 2 * D - (A+C)
H = B + D - C
Now go find the final at N 37 30.DEF W 122 17.FGH. During business hours, you can take the path you will see below, through a business establishment unusual for this type of location. Otherwise, it's an easy drive away.
The final is a nano, for now, since the hide location is somewhat exposed. You may be observed by muggles at the establishment mentioned above, so be stealthy, please. The hint is very explicit if you need to make a fast grab.
