Geocache Description:


I received a log on one of our other caches in the Vienna area (Old Jail) that said some very nice things about the local motel. I took a copy of it to the motel owner, 'cause I know it's always nice to get an Attaboy! While I was there, I got permission to place this cache.

We have stayed in this roadside motel at various times since the 1970s. When we first started staying here, it was called the Wye Motel. (It's near the "Y" made by US Hwy 63 and MO Hwy 28.) It's been fixed up over the years, and now offers an RV park and Gasconade River float trips.

The cache is now a small container - should be a fairly easy Park&Grab as you're passing through on Highway 63.
