Geocache Description:

Gorgeous views wherever your eyes take you.

While taking in the views you'll see a beautiful restored century home that was originally built by Thomas Strapp and his wife Mary Ann (Kennedy-Healy) in the early 1900s. It was in this house that they raised their seven surviving children and kept a general store. On this and surrounding property many events of the 1861 riots took place. The house has been restored by their grandson who resides there with his wife. The cache is on a nearby trail across from the parish hall.
