Geocache Description:

The Crosscreek Pond cache is the eleventh in a series of caches that highlight some of the publicly accessible but little known ponds in and around London. The caches are all found in close proximity to a pond. The terrain is easy, parking is close by, but the puzzle to find the coordinates of the cache is challenging.

The initial coordinates are of the recommended parking area on Crosscreek Crescent, in the River Valley subdivision in northeast London. As I was placing the cache, I looked hard for but didn't see any ducks, but did see a fair amount of algae! This pond is the infamous one in which a caiman (a small crocodile) was captured in September 2009. The pond's perimeter has been planted with numerous trees, and has some tall weeds. There is a path along the edge of the whole pond.

The coordinates of the cache can be found be determining the numbers from the following clues:

KLESH  YEH-HES  AL-NA-AS-DZOH

DIBEH  AH-NAH  A-KEH-DI-GLINI  AH-JAH  AH-CHIN

BESH-DO-TLIZ  DZEH  AH-LOSZ  NE-AHS-JAH

CHUO  TLO-CHIN  SHI-DAH  GAH

KLESH  A-CHI  AL-NA-AS-DZOH

THAN-ZIE  GLOE-IH  A-KHA

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

The cache is small, and has a few pins and small prizes to trade. Please reclose and rehide carefully after signing the log.

Please take the opportunity to visit some or all of the other eleven pond puzzle caches in the series. And when you log your find, be sure to mention what sort of birds or wildlife you encounter on your trek.

Congratulations to Dawgpound23 for the FTF!
