Geocache Description:

Akiko Yosano (Yosano Akiko 7, December 1878 - 29 May 1942) was the pen-name of a Japanese author, poet, pioneering feminist, pacifist, and social reformer, active in late Meiji period, Taisho period and early Showa period Japan.

The poet "Akiko Yosano" visited in Shikinejima Island in 1938. The cache is hidden near by the object errected on the point, at which it is believed that the female poet made a haiku ( a short poem) "Only ocean waves coming to the rocky gate of the Shikinejima island, like a desert island nobody lives".
Please stand there and feel the sense of the lonely poet.
The cache is a small container.
The cache is set for the first CITO event organized in Shikinejima, so please do not find the cache (visit link) before the event (starting at 13:00, 12th of September)
