This cache is located near the UCSB campus point beach. Cache is a small camo'd tupperware container. Generally easy terrain.
UCSB has many hidden treasures. One of my favorites is the UCSB marine life "Touch Tank," managed by UCSB's REEF program. Located right next to the famous campus point beach, it features tanks with all sorts of ocean critters that live out in the channel, many of which can be picked up and touched. They host field trips from as far as Oxnard and Santa Maria, but a little known fact is that the TouchTank is open to the public every Saturday from 11 - 2. The docents are marine science students - incredibly nice and extremely knowledgeable. Stop by after you find the cache and learn a bit more about your oceanic neighbors!
