CACHING EVENT!
for Summer/Fall 2009

Autumn is just around the corner and it's time, once again, for some geo-fellowship with your friends in the Greater Charlotte Geocaching Club. We'll meet for supper at 6:30pm on Saturday, September 26th at our usual restaurant with the perfect initials. We'll have a few items to give away as usual, but the main focus for our time together will be story-telling and trackables. Very soon, Madkiwiman will be leaving for a vacation to New Zealand and therapaint will be taking off to Seattle, so bring geocoins and travel bugs that need some miles. Also, madkiwiman will have information on a trackable race/contest and if you would like to participate, bring some personal bugs along as well.

There is always great fun when our group comes together so make plans to come and see old friends and make new ones. It's been a great summer with many geocache hunts, and we would love to hear about all of them. Please post a note soon and let us know how many folks in your group will attend. We're looking forward to seeing you there as the GCGC gets around!

Thanks to our fantastic website at www.charlottegeocaching.com,our local geocaching community is thriving, and our membership is growing rapidly. If you have attended some of our events in the past, we would love to see you again, and if you're new to the Charlotte geocaching scene, we would enjoy meeting you and placing a face with a username.
