Near the summit of Crow Pass trail, on a scenic overlook. This is one of my favorite places. It is about a 3.5 mile uphill hike from the Girdwood trailhead. In July 2008 a group of friends stayed at the cabin while hiking the 26 miles from Girdwood to Eagle River. There was a mountain goat that stood on this knoll and watched us for a long time.
