I used to fill up my canteen here on drives up the mountain from the city a long time ago, don't know if it's still okay for that. Pretty to look at and listen to and drive over, though.
Cache is a typical pill tube, with the typical tiny black rubber gasket that rots away after a season. Log sheet is waterproof though. Hint should help (hint should actually give it away...). ----- When you find the cache, consider for a moment that that exact spot was far more than fifteen feet underwater during the flash rains of mid-April 2011.
