Geocache Description:

South Wales Mountain Cache Challenge 19 is number nineteen in a series of caches that have been placed in the South Wales mountains.

The South Wales Mountain Cache Challenge has thirty caches placed in various parts of the upland areas of the Principality. A mountain is defined as being at least 2000 feet high, but here in Wales, we like to call some of higher hills mountains as well, and so several of the caches have been placed in areas that I perceive to be beautiful, but do not fall within the definition of a mountain!
Please also understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and is an entirely subjective view!
Many of the caches have been placed in the mountains within the Brecon Beacons National Park.

This cache has been placed on the upper slopes of Mynydd James, a hill that seperates the very peaceful valley that can be located near Blaentillery Farm on the eastern side, to the busier Ebbw Fach valley near Blaina.

The cache is near to a fault line that runs from west to east through the South Wales valleys. Evidence of the fault line will be all around you and on the opposite side of the valley. Whilst the areas have been quarried, you are not looking at quarry remains, but rock that periodically falls due to very minor earth tremors!! So, even Wales has its own San Andreas fault!!!!

Do not forget to look for a clue within the cache, as to find number thirty in the series, you will need 17 clues that are hidden in the first 29 caches in the series.
