Geocache Description:

Your first stop to Exploring Leesburg. This is a quick 2 stage multi.

The first stage can be found in the parking lot for the newly renovated Rust Library

Rust Library first opened in 1992 after the county received a gift of land from the Rust family in 1986. Voters approved funding for the renovation and remodel of the library in 2001, which came in at a final price tag around $10 million. A 2004 gift from the estate of philanthropist A.V. Symington of $4.9 million was to be used exclusively for Rust, and some of that money was used in the library's construction, Library Board of Trustees Chairman Scott Stewart said. The library's new teen center is named in honor of Symington, as well as the children's story-time area.
