You are looking for a small plastic lock & lock container. This should be an easy find but rehide it as you found it.
We were back in here checking out the water conditions for kayaking and we came upon this place and figured it needed a cache.
There's a couple ways of doing this cache. You can simply walk to it but the way you approach it could up or lower the difficulty. You could really turn it in to an adventure by kayaking to it when the water level is up above 3.5 on the gage. I need to make it clear though, this is not a kayak adventure for the inexperienced. There are lots of strainers and splash dams that are definitely drowning machines. If you are an experienced kayaker you will enjoy it immensely. Launch below the spillway of East Branch Dam. The coords are 41 33.215 078 35.821 for the launch approx.
If you are driving to the cache and then hiking it will be a short walk and should not require crossing the river. Now crossing a little stream is a distinct possibility. Bear in mind that the coords for this cache may be sketchy due to tree cover but once you arrive the cache name will tell you where you need to focus your search. This used to be where the old road went up thru. Enjoy the area.
