Geocache Description:

The quilt square is on the family barn, built in 1931, and the barn has been in the family for four generations. The original quilt, sewn by Eliza “Pet” E. Chrisman, was in tatters. Her granddaughter, Terri J. Runyan, made a new, king sized quilt in the same pattern.

If you are coming from the north or west to seek this cache via interstate highway, exit I-40 two miles south of the 40-81 split, turning right to intercept US 25W / US 70, then turn south, crossing the French Broad on that highway.

Permission has been given to pull into the driveway to seek this cache, but you may prefer to park across the road so you do not have to back out onto the highway. The cache, a camo-painted prescription bottle, is at the end of the line of bushes next to the driveway. There is no need to go farther into the yard than the bushes. BYOP. Do NOT do this cache at night.
