Located by walking from 18th Street and Cathedral Rock Drive in Cabrillo Canyon in the Ahwatukee Foothills. This was the developer's old nature hike. You may need to bushwack the first 20 feet but the rest is fairly easy terrain. Lots of identified trees and easy access make it good for the little ones.
We are homeschoolers and enjoyed the fun lesson on latitude and longitide. Located in a white ice cream tub with lots of fun trinkets. Our boys placed it here and love the D Backs - thus, the name of our cache. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and fun trail! Go Arizona Diamondbacks!
