Geocache Description:

Although watching some TV would be an asset and add fun to this search, it is not necessary. Even though the Dharma Initiative operated stations on the lost island, it is rumored to have had a satelllite station located in Sooke! This station, the cache, was meant to oversee the other stations on the island.

At approximately N48 26.389 W123 42.982 you will see a red building. This is an old guard post for the Dharma Station that was once here. Behind it after crossing a bike trail, you should see a hiking trail leading up the hill to the east.

If you follow this trail for 10 minutes, you will eventually come to a big pipe which once carried water for the DHARMA operations in the area. After reaching the pipe you will need to follow it north for a distance until you reach N48 27.708 W123 43.886 You can pick up some other treasures on the way.

At this location you should encounter a road leading east. This road was once used for the DHARMA vehicles to deliver supplies to the station.

If you follow this road, your GPS will bring you to the hatch of the old DHARMA station. Open the hatch and you will have your prize! The station contains some items that could help you survive in the wilderness.

I hope you have fun seeking this cache! To avoid any ambiguity, this cache is a traditional go to and the above co-ordinates will lead you to the cache. GPS reception was a bit spotty but the co-ords were averaged 150 times and we got a pretty good accuracy reading. The hint is a good one and you should be able to find it.
