Cache is located on a public footpath near to the village of
Swinstead. At the beginning of the trail ~ PLEASE WALK ALONG THE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH WHICH CROSSES THE FIELD DIAGONALLY FROM THE PARKING
COORDINATES KEEP TO THE PATH PLEASE DONT TRY TO GO THROUGH THE
HEDGE. After you find CELTIC DREAM (1) continue on your quest until
you locate CELTIC DREAM (2). If you wish, you could then look for
the stile and return to you vehicle through the village. Enjoy the
gentle (circular) walk.
Hall Of Fame
The cache is a medium sized clip-n-lock plastic box hidden near to
one of Grimsthorpe Castles Gate Houses. There is a clear view of
the gate house enroute. The History of the Castle ~ The Castle is
the centrepiece of the estate. It is a large quadrangular house
with a central courtyard. Each section has a different appearance,
reflecting the different architectural styles that have been
employed here since building began in the 13th century. Once inside
you can see the collection of paintings, furniture, tapestries and
objects d'art that fill the state rooms...
