Geocache Description:

A two mintue walk from the Paddy Lee's Picnic area - involves a small rock climb of two metres.

Paddy Lee's Crossing is a ford on Valencia Creek along the Old Moroka Road just north of Valencia Creek (near Briagolong).

This is a great little picnic spot suitable for two wheel drives and softroaders. Old Moroka Road is narrow in spots so care should be exercised.

There are a few campsites along Old Moroka Road which also make great lunch stops. If you are in a 4WD then an ideal day trip is to keep travelling north around and into the Avon Wilderness, coming out near Ben Crouchan and Mt Hedrick - other Geocache sites.

When placing the cache the creek was about 2cm deep at the ford. If the creek is in flood, or flowing too fast, or you are unsure - then do not cross.

As for the name of this cache....I was unable to find any information in relation to the naming of this ford. Any ideas???

When logging your find please attach a photo of your geo-vehicle crossing the ford (optional).

Whilst I keep researching enjoy travelling to this spot and enjoy it.
