Geocache Description:

A regular sized cache located near the Jonesville side of Gilette Pond.

This cache is in a regular sized plastic Zip-Loc container covered in black duct tape. If you found I Heart Vt #1, you'll recognize the container. The approach to GZ is relatively treacherous, so I gave it a 3 for terrain. It should be winter-friendly, however the rocks will be even more treacherous then even though you can skate right up to it.

The cache is located at Gilette Pond, a nice spot on Wes White Hill rd in Jonesville. I recommend parking near the intersection of Wes White Hill rd and Durand rd, then you can walk across the street to the Gilette Pond area. You'll have to be quite stealthy if there are muggles around, especially if they are skating. Not night-caching friendly. I marked that it has a scenic view, but the real scenic views are to be found if you continue down the road to either direction of the cache.

This is my first series, and the second cache in the series. Caches in this series will be placed in areas of Vermont that remind me of why I love being here. I Heart Vermont.
