Near the causeway that was almost lost to Hurricane Bill in August of 2009.
Hurricane Bill came ashore near this area. the storm was not so much a wind and rain event as it was a sea event. A storm surge in excess of 12 meters inundated this area. The water completely destroyed the natural sea wall and washed much of the road into Victoria lake.The cache is hidden just off the road near the start of the worst of the damage. It is a small lock and lock type container. At the time of hiding it contained only a log. BYOP.
